NOTICE
For ONLINE ENROLMENT OF UNTRAINED ELEMENTARY TEACHERS of WEST BENGAL
FOR ONLINE D. El. Ed. TRAINING COURSE

REF: D O OF THE MHRD, GOVERNMENT OF INDIA NO. 17-2/2017-EE. 17, DATED THE 3rd AUGUST, 2017
In pursuance of the D O of the MHRD, Government of India No. 17-2/2017-EE. 17, dated the 3rd day of August, 2017, all concerned are hereby informed that the Government of West Bengal in the Department of School Education has agreed in principle to the proposal of training the untrained elementary teachers of the State, teaching Classes I—VIII in both the Government/ Government Sponsored/Government Aided Schools, Madrasahs, SSKs, MSKs as well as private unaided schools who do not have the required training qualifications.
Therefore, all such untrained teachers teaching Classes I—VIII in the Primary/Upper Primary schools, defined above, having 50% or 45% (for reserved categories) in the HS or its equivalent examination are requested to register themselves in maintenance of the following procedures:

Click on the Section for Teacher's Registration Enter your email and password to access the NIOS D. El. Ed. System Those who do not have 50% or 45% (for reserved categories) in the HS or its equivalent examination can also register for such D. El Ed. Training, but such teachers will also register with the NIOS for improvement of qualification/percentage of marks. Such teachers will have to register themselves at NIOS Senior Secondary Course under Stream-1 or Stream-4.
If a teacher has graduation degree with less than 50% or 45% (for reserved categories) in the HS or its equivalent examination, she/he does not need such up-gradation/improvement.
Teachers with less than 50% or 45% marks (for reserved categories) in the HS or its equivalent examination will not be awarded D El Ed-pass-certificates till they acquire 50% or 45% (for reserved categories) in the HS or its equivalent examination through such improvement.
This process of registration of unqualified untrained teachers should be completed latest by 15.09.17 under the active supervision of the respective Heads of the concerned schools of the State. The respective Heads will authenticate the registration online.
Course Fees: Rs. 6000/- (Six thousand) per Year per Trainee Teacher (4500/- as Course Fee and 1500/- for procurement of individual Dish TV Set top box for observing Channel-32 "SWAYAM PRABHA" 24X7 for D El Ed Course) The Course fee @ 4500/- has to be paid online at the time of Registration.
The Teachers already trained appropriately and enjoying the status of trained teachers need not register for such training. Primary Teachers & Para-teachers who have already been registered for Two Year D. El. Ed. Course through ODL-Mode and are undergoing the said course need not register in terms of this notification.
