No. 587 -SE/S/lS-26/2010(Pt.-III) 5 year exprience of Jr. High School Headmsrter Amendment of Recruitment Rules, 2016 in c/w Headmaster/Headmistress

The notification clearly shows that the required experience  for the Headmaster of Jr. High school under West Bengal School Service Commission is minimum 5 years of continuous service. So if any vacancy declared by  West Bengal School Service Commission for Jr. High school Headmaster/ Head mistress a person who have the continuous 5years of teaching experience can apply for the same.

In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1) of section 17, read with section 8 and clause (d) of sub-section (2) of section 17, of the West Bengal School Service Commission Act, 1997 (West Ben.-Act IV of 1997), the Governor is pleased hereby to make, with immediate effect, the following amendments in the West Bengal School Service Commission (Selection for appointment to the posts of Headmaster or Headmistress in Secondary or Higher Secondary and Junior High Schools) Rules, 2016, issued with this Department notification No. 1114-S(S)/IS-26/1010(Pt.-III), dated the 21^st September-2016 – and published- in the Kalkata Gazette, Extraordinary, Part I, dated the 21^st September, 2016 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules) ■:-

Amendments

In the said rules,in Schedule I,-.

(1)  in SI. No. 1, for the entry in item (ii) under the heading "Essential" in the column
relating to "Educational qualification including professional qualifications" against
the name of posts "Headmaster/Headmistress of High School/Higher Secondary
School", substitute the following item and the entry relating thereto:'-

"(ii) Ten years continuous teaching experience "on the last date of submission of application in approved service in a Higher Secondary School/ High School/ Junior High School or Madrasah/Senior Madrasah, or more than one, recognized by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education/ West Bengal Board of Secondary Education/ West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education.";

(2) in SI. No. 2, for the entry in item (ii)under the heading "Essential” in the column

relating to "Educational qualification including professional qualifications" against the name of posts "Headmaster/Headmistress of Junior High School", substitute the following item arid the entry relating thereto :-

"(ii) Five years continuous teaching experience on the last date of submission
.,                        of application in approved service in a Higher Secondary School/ High

School/ Junior High School or Madrasah/Senior Madrasah, or more than one, recognized by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education/ West Bengal Board of Secondary Education/ West Bengal Board of Madrash Education.".
