NOTIFICATION
Attention: All Head of Institutions, students and other concerned
All the stakeholders are hereby requested to note the following points regarding the Semester System vide Notification No: L/PR/176/2024 dated 18/04/2024.
All the students who were not successful/could not appear in Class XI Annual Examination till the Academic Session 2023-2024, must continue Class XI academic curriculum (i.e. Semester I and Semester II) with newly introduced Semester System from the Academic Session 2024-2025.
Any student who has already passed Class XI Annual Examination in 2024 or 2023 or any Continuing or Special Candidate, if desired, may continue Class XI academic curriculum (i.e. Semester I and Semester II) afresh under newly introduced Semester System from the Academic Session 2024-2025 by giving an undertaking in this respect to the Council through his/her Head of the Institution (HOI). This option is available only for the Academic Session 2024-2025, keeping in mind the interest of the students so that they can take the benefit of Semester System, if desired. Please note that this option will not be available from next academic session and this cannot be cited as precedence.
For all the above cases, the students have to register themselves afresh with the Council by surrendering the existing registration certificates and/or the admit card as case may be, to the Council through their HOIs. The condition of registration of a student within three years from the year of passing of his/her Madhyamik Pariksha or equivalent examination including the year of examination, will be relaxed based on his/her prayer.
