Sub: Regarding formation of Managing Committee of the Govt. Sponsored Schools.
With reference to the subject noted above I am directed to inform you to take necessary
arrangement to select representatives of the Managing Committees of all Government Sponsored
Schools (old & New) in following manner:-

The members will be nominated as soon as the relevant Government order for dissolution of the present managing committee(s) will be issued.
at is to be noted that under no circumstances any non-graduate member shall be a part of the school managing committee.
In case of old Government sponsored schools (61 schools) converted before September. 2013 where the Managing Committee (s) has not been informed due to want of nomination of the President, the members nominated by the Commissioner of West Bengal might be changed.
Necessary amendment in the management of sponsored institutions (Secondary Rules) 1972 will be made in due course.
This order will come into force with immediate effect.
